Visiting The Arizona Desert Town of Sedona

If you’ve never seen the desert in full bloom, you are missing out!

Spring is a beautiful time to explore it. Hike, run or walk and enjoy the views (those gorgeous views!).

If you are a regular on this blog, you know we’ve been taking family road trips to explore the beautiful Canyon State since we moved to Phoenix, Arizona last year.

This time my husband’s aunt came to visit from Seattle, Washington and we decided to go to the place EVERYONE has recommended the most… Sedona.

We started our adventure at the Sedona tourist information center…

Our first stop, Red Rock Country.

Our second stop was the Chapel of the Holy Cross, which is a Roman Catholic chapel built into the rocks (It was so beautiful!).

These front pictures are from the Red Rock Realty website. My pictures are the ones that show the mountain behind the church (where we were standing). I don’t have an helicopter or anything like that 😉

The last stop was the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village.

This shopping complex makes you feel like you are in Old Mexico (I loved it!).

Grab a cup of coffee and your dessert of choice and enjoy!

Sedona was truly a magical destination and there is so much more to explore. I will be back!
