Cristina Cellini is a fashion stylist that works with celebrities and international clients such as Paulina Rubio, Kim Kardashian, Lauren Hill and many others. She grew up in Italy, England, Holland and Africa. She is fluent in English, Italian and French and also has knowledge of Spanish and Dutch. At her company, Nobodysugly LLC, she also offers image consulting and personal shopping.
We invited Cristina to participate in a Style Chat with us and she said yes!

Gitana Styling: What is your definition of style?
Cristina Cellini: My definition of style is when someone has an active interest in the image they portray to the world combined with a natural ability to translate references, and their likes, to make it work for them.
GS: Who is your favorite designer?
CC: Fashion is all about change, designers produce so many collections every year it’s almost impossible to always be a winner every time. My personal style is very eclectically mixed, so one of my favorite designers might be Gucci while the next day I love Nike and the day after that I’m obsessed with a vintage dress I found years ago that doesn’t have a label at all. So it is difficult to choose one but I do love: Saint Laurent, Valentino, and Nicolas Ghesquière.

GS: Who are your top 3 style icons?
CC: David Bowie, Lauren Hutton, and Gwen Stefani.

GS: Share 3 style tips with us.
CC: I think that the first tip would be the importance of personal grooming and health. If you take care of yourself well then you can wear a t-shirt and flip flops and look amazing. Next I’d say to not be afraid to wear whatever you feel like wearing everyday, If you are comfortable and expressing how you feel you will always look more stylish. Last tip would be to always take care of your clothes, make friends with a good tailor, just like a living person your wardrobe needs maintenance to last and keep looking its best.

GS: If you feel like your outfit is missing something, what is your #1 style upgrader?
CC: If I feel like my outfit needs a boost I put on a really special pair of shoes, I think great shoes can make you look like a million in an outfit that costs next to nothing.

GS: What are you currently working on?
CC: I am currently working on a variety of music related styling jobs as well as advertisements. I also am working on consulting and with personal shopping clients.
