As new Arizona residents, we can’t get enough of the alluring scenery this state has to offer. Since we moved, we haven’t stopped exploring new spots and discovering new natural beauties.
This past month, I was invited by Photographer Sobe Stanford from Sobe Stanford Photography to participate in a photoshoot in the lovely dessert. She picked a beautiful park called Papago Park in Phoenix, AZ. The setting was picturesque and I couldn’t be more excited.
We worked together in selecting the perfect hairdo, makeup and outfit.
I wanted to choose vivid colors that would create a contrast between us and the earthy tones of the desert. We ended up selecting a palette of apple green and navy blue with small accents of coral, grey and baby blue.
In terms of makeup, we went with a soft natural look palette with a gold eye shadow and for the hair, loose romantic curls.
We both wanted a sophisticated feel to the shoot, so we made sure to include accessories that reflected that elegance and chicness, such as high nude peep toe heels and statement necklace for me and a fitted blazer, tie and dress shoes for my partner (who happens to be my hubby), actor and writer Beau Yotty.
Sobe was truly a pleasure to work with! She was diligent and professional, as well as open to new ideas and suggestions. We are very happy with the final product and we look forward to working together in upcoming projects while we keep exploring this gorgeous Valley! 😉
