This past Thursday, June 9th of 2016 Phoenix Fashion Week (PHXFW) celebrated the designers and models who will be part of the leading fashion event in the Southwest this October 2016.
The PHXFW Emerging Designer and Model Launch Party took place at Livewire in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event consisted of two fashion shows. During the first one, fashion host Bianca introduced the 40 models that were picked from the model search and who will be walking the runways of PHXFW. During the second show, the audience was treated to one look per designer to get a taste of what they will bring to the show this October.

The chosen 12 apparel designers and 3 accessory designers will be part of a 4-month bootcamp to learn the business side of fashion and prepare themselves for the event. Designers will go through several challenges and compete for “Designer of the Year 2016.”
Models will also go through several challenges including Head Shot, Runway, Print, Interview and Social Media and compete for the title of “Model of the Year.” The Head Shot challenge winners were announced that same night. Models Deividas and Cierra won the challenge!
