My Acne Story | Part III

Week #3

I’m on week 3 and this is really a roller coaster! For the most part, I’m always going up, but sometimes I go down.

My skin is looking great, but I still get a few pimples here and there. I have to say though, there are SMALLER and LESS PAINFUL.

I’ve come to understand that our women’s cycle and its changes are inevitable! The impact of the cycle on my skin has decreased to a 20%. Before using the products listed below it used to affect me about 80%.

My skin would get many pimples (very painful ones!) and it was very red. It was the worst week of my life! Now my skin is less sensitive, not red and with 80% less pimples.

The other thing is… water, water and more water! My skin was SO THIRSTY! It needed lots of water. It’s hard to get used to drinking (what it feels like) too much water. When I go back to my no-drinking pattern (because sometimes it just happens) my skin feels it immediately. I have to make sure that I drink at least 4 bottles of water a day.

My Acne Story, Part I

My Acne Story, Part II

Since session 1, I’ve been following this daily routine:

Daily Routine.

Morning:

Step #1 – Cleanse (Arbonne Gentle Daily Cleanser).

Step #2 – Soothe face (Arbonne Soothing Facial Serum).

Step #3 – Moisturize (Arbonne Gentle Daily Moisturizer).

Step #4 – Soothe eye area (Arbonne Soothing Eye Gel).

*All these products are from the Arbonne CALM line.

Night:

Step #1 – Cleanse (Arbonne Gentle Daily Cleanser).

Step #2 – Exfoliate (Arbonne Intelligence Genius Resurfacing Pads). These pads promote cell turnover at the skin’s surface and brighten to help reduce the look of dark spots and fine lines.

Step #3 – Stabilize (Arbonne Intensive Renewal Serum).

Session #3

Today during session 3 this is what we did!

Step #1 – Cleanse with a gentle cleanser (Arbonne Gentle Daily Cleanser).

Step #2 – Detox. First we used the Arbonne Detox Face Mask, a creamy French pink clay formula that cleanses  to draw out  impurities from the skin’s surface. It also brightens the skin. Then we exfoliated with Arbonne Intelligence Genius Resurfacing Pads, a natural retinoid treatment that eliminates dead cells, unclogs pores and allows new baby cells to surface and create glow and radiance.

Step #3 – Stabilize the skin with vitamin C. We used the Arbonne Intensive Renewal Serum made with orange stem cells and an ultrasound skincare device called Arbonne Genius Ultra. We put the serum on the face and used the tool to allow the serum to go deeper in the skin and diminish acne scaring, tone and firm the skin and minimize the look of wrinkles.

Step #4 – Soothe eyes with Arbonne Soothing Eye Gel.

Step #5 – Moisturize with a day moisturizer with SPF 20.

Also today I tested the wonderful Arbonne Detox Gelee! It’s a cooling gel that helps soothe tired muscles and hydrates the skin. It’s made with algae, Juniper berry fruit oil, lavender and tangerine. Delicious!

Before & After.

Here are the pictures “before” I had the treatment and “after” my third session with Cirina.
